Essential Elements I & Aural Elements I Set

Essential Elements I is the first of a four part music theory sequence. Topics to be covered will include: the basics of rhythm, pitch, pitch class identification, staff and ledger lines.

Aural Elements I is the first of a four part music ear training/sight-singing sequence. Topics to be covered will include: the basics of rhythm dictation, solfegé. Students will develop skills for listening, repeating, sight-singing, and writing music down completely by ear. (this course is suggested with Essential Elements I)
